Bret and I just got back from his very first basketball game. I have a friend from work whose son plays JV for for Appleton West and they were playing at Kimberly. Just one more example of feeling old...his son would have been Bret's age when I started working at AAL.
We watched the entire JV game and the first half of the varsity game. Well, I did. Bret was playing with his Leapster, but that's okay because he was 8 out of 10 on the behavior scale. Hopefully this is a sign that we can start going to more games.
And now the part you've been waiting for...
1. Bret knew the first game was over, so when the second game started up, he asked me if it was "the bonus round". MAYBE a little too much leapster
2. Bret pointed directly at my friends wife and said "she has a big nose". The gym was a little noisy, but there is only about a 3% chance she didn't hear that. Ouch.
Jake is under the weather. Not sure if he's got a bug or his antibiotics for his ear infection are giving him the squirts. Poor little guy.
