The real reason I started this blog was because Bret has been saying so many things that make us laugh and I wanted to write them down so we can remember them someday. I haven't really been doing that. Here's a few...

Bret has always thought that Pluto's name is Blue Dog. When I correct him, he says "yes daddy, but he's Blue Dog too".

Lately he's been talking about rhymes and opposites. He confuses the two sometimes but he loves to say a word and then ask me what it rhymes with. When I give him a rhyming word, he then asks me what that rhymes with. Tonight, after we went through one round of 5 or 6 words (cat, sat, bat, rat, etc.), he said "daddy, I think we are just going around in circles". Ahh, yup.

Bret got the boardgame Sorry! for Christmas. After he got used to getting bumped back to the start he's been enjoying it quite a bit. Before he had the name of the game committed to memory, he called it "the game with the little balls on top" because the pieces look like standard board game pawns with the little round piece on top.

I'm behind and wish I could remember all of his little sayings. They are one of the priceless things that make kids so fun.
